S&T and HP Open New Customer Concept Center in Romania
The Center provides unique IT Datacenter concepts and processes for Business Critical Infrastructure Solutions that will boost business and markets in the regionS&T and HP opened yesterday the new S&T Customer Concept Center in Bucharest that will provide customers in the region the opportunity to test and customize business solutions from both companies, with a focus on IT Datacenter Processes and Business Critical Infrastructure Solutions.
The partnership between HP and S&T Group has very strong roots based on over a decade of close business relations and successful cooperation. The joint objective of the two companies is to provide their customers with best-of-breed solutions to match their needs and to offer comprehensive support for their business processes. S&T Group is the biggest HP Preferred Partner with specializations in Central and Eastern Europe, such as S&T Romania is one of the most important local partners of HP in Romania with skills proven in a significant number of complex projects. This expertise encouraged the management of S&T Group and HP to establish the Customer Concept Center in Bucharest with a responsibility to support the group wide activities. “The degree of specialisation on the IT market is increasing continuously. The Customer Competence Center is specifically designed to provide consulting to the customers, to evaluate new technologies and to support all phases of IT projects. To make this possible the center is equipped with a wide range of hardware and software that enables testing of all types of platforms, specifically for complex projects. Solutions can be tested “hands-on” by the customers with full support from S&T and HP, Customer benefit from risk-free testing, a predictable quality and friendly costs. The solutions tested and blueprints available in the Customer Concept Center proof the joint concepts of HP and S&T.
Concepts and tools
In the Customer Concet Center, customers will be able to test Business Continuity & Availability concepts like Data Protection, Backup/Recovery and Replication; Information Lifecycle Management concepts like Business Intelligence and Database & ERP solutions; Server and Enterprise concepts like Clustering and Virtualization. All of these concepts are demonstrated using an architecture based on HP Proliant and Integrity server product families, HP Storage equipment and all is brought together in a flexible and adaptive IT infrastructure. Together with the variety of software and business applications from Microsoft, Oracle, SAP, LiveLink, Cognos, VMWare and HP Software platforms for practically all business solutions can be tailor suited and tested.
